Q:  Where do I go to pick up a Police report?
A:  You can pick up an accident and/or incident report at the Central Records Section located at Police Headquarters in Tucker, Georgia (click for map).

Q:  How long does it take to get a copy of an accident report after the accident has occurred?
A:  A report is typically available five (5) business days (not including weekends or holidays) after an accident has occurred.

Q:  How can I expunge my criminal records?
A:  For a nominal fee you can have your records expunged by contacting our Central Records Section at 770-724-7740.

Q:  Where do I go to adopt a pet?
A:  The Police Department frequently holds pet adoptions throughout the county. You can check this website Animal Services page for details or call 404-294-3088.

Q:  My neighbor has old cars and debris all over their property, who should I call?
A:  Contact Code Enforcement’s Complaint Line at 770-724-7940.

Q:  How do I find out when my traffic court hearing is scheduled?
A:  The Police department does not make the schedule for court dates, please contact Recorders Court at 404-508-0368.

Q:  I need a background report done for my employer, where do I go to get one and how much  does it cost?
A:  For a nominal fee of $20, you can retrieve a background check at the Central Records Section located at Police Headquarters in Tucker, Georgia (click for map) .

Q:  I’m interested in becoming a police officer, where do I apply?

Q:  A family member is not responding to repeated calls to their home, I’m concerned, what can I do?
A:  You can call the non-emergency line at 678-406-7929 to speak with an officer for advice.

Q:  How do I request a street closing for a parade?
A:  Contact your local precinct (precinct map) for a form and return it to the precinct for processing.
