- When filling a pool, to avoid incurring sewer fees, the pool should be filled utilizing a fire hydrant and fire hydrant meter. No adjustments or credits for sewer charges will be given for filling a pool using a domestic meter.

Fire hydrant meters can be rented from the Department of Watershed Management. For the Fire Hydrant Meter Rental, Reading, and Procedure form or for additional information, please call 770-621-7272.

- Due to changes in processing utility payments, DeKalb County Treasury is requiring that its customer’s do not combine utility payments. Please provide a separate check/payment along with the payment stub for each utility service received from DeKalb County. Failure to comply will delay posting the payment and may result in late charges.

To gain access to your account enter your customer number. This number can be found on the top of your last statement. You can also gain access by entering your street address and zip code but this must be entered exactly as it appears on your statement. If you have a second account at your location (such as irrigation or recycling), you must use the customer number to specify the correct account.
